The divorce moved on the calendar without requiring my presence in the same room as Dominic.
Sophia handled the filings, the disclosures, and the objections that arrived from his counsel. Each objection met the same wall: the ownership records, the freeze authorizations, the protective order, and the medical documentation of the injuries and the pregnancy loss. Temporary support arguments collapsed once the true source of the household’s funding was entered into evidence. The mansion was no longer a marital asset available for negotiation. It was corporate property under majority control that had never passed to him.
Victoria attempted to intervene through a separate attorney, claiming emotional distress and damage to family reputation. The claim was noted and set aside. She had no standing in the corporate structure and no exception under the protective order. Dominic’s access to operating accounts remained suspended while the majority stakeholder—my investment entity—conducted its review.
